I have been teaching and tutoring students for 15 years in Sioux Falls, SD. During this time,  I watched bright teens and college students fall behind not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked structure. I always understood the real issue, but I didn’t yet have the tools to solve it. That changed when I pursued specialized executive function training and saw students transform once their systems finally made sense. BestEFC.com grew from that shift — a calm, supportive space where students learn simple systems and rhythms to organize their calendars and tasks, manage overwhelm, and move forward with confidence. Today, I coach students across the Sioux Falls region and beyond, helping them build pathways that support who they are and where they’re going.

Originally from Huron, SD, I have lived in Sioux Falls since 2009.  I am married to Brad and mom to Gabi (20) and Zane (17). I have my BA from USD in Business and my MBA from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. Before having children I worked in business operations, finance and audit for Fortune 500 companies like ITT, Sprint, and Medtronic.  After having children, I have pursued my passion for helping children thrive in educational settings. I have taught private classes, homeschool classes, full-time at a private school, and I then transitioned to full-time tutoring and coaching in the fall of 2022.  I love my students, families, and work!
